Intended audience
Personnel who will work in the wind energy industry or related sectors. Personnel selected to perform advanced rescue operations or to lead an advanced rescue operation.
Pre-requisites
All participants in a GWO training course shall create a WINDA profile on the Global Wind Organisation website in order to obtain an identification code (ID WINDA) which must be provided upon registration.
In addition, course participants must be in possession of the basic course and the following courses: GWO BST WAH (Working at Heights), GWO BST FA (First Aid) and GWO BST MH (Manual Handling).
Module participants must be in good, self-certified psycho-physical condition.
Should health conditions change during training, work activities must cease immediately unless the participant submits medical clearance.
The training centre is entitled to exclude a participant from the training or examination in the event of doubts about his or her health, fitness or aptitude for safety.
Objectives
The purpose of this module is to enable participants, through theoretical and practical training, to review and consolidate skills previously acquired from the ART Nacelle, Tower & Basement Rescue module and the BST Working at Heights and Manual Handling modules to enable course participants to perform rescue operations of injured persons in a WTG nacelle, tower and basement using industry-standard rescue equipment, methods and techniques.
Course fee
660,00€ per participant at Kong premises (VAT exempt).
It is possible to organize courses on Saturdays and Sundays as well, by scheduling the dates in advance. Customized quotes will be provided with the appropriate fee adjustments.
Confirmation of the course will be sent by e-mail at least 10 working days before the fixed date.
The course will be activated upon reaching the minimum number of 4 participants.
