Professional Kits for Levee Control and Sheeting: Tailored Solutions for Civil Protection
In a context where extreme weather events are increasingly frequent, levee control and sheeting operations play a crucial role in preventing floods and safeguarding communities. Sheeting, in particular, involves applying waterproof tarpaulins on the river-facing side of the levee, secured with stakes and ballast, to prevent water infiltration and ensure the levee’s stability.
These operations require timely and coordinated actions, often in difficult environmental conditions such as wet and unstable terrain, which increase the risk of slips and accidents. Therefore, it is essential that Civil Protection teams are equipped with suitable tools and personal protective equipment (PPE) compliant with current regulations.
In collaboration with industry experts, we have developed two specific kits to support field teams:
- Team Kit: includes essential collective equipment for setting up temporary lifelines and anchoring systems.
- Operator Kit: includes high-quality individual PPE designed to ensure maximum safety and comfort during field operations.
Each component has been carefully selected to meet real operational needs, ensuring efficiency, speed, and safety at every stage of the intervention.
In addition to product supply, we also offer dedicated training designed to adequately prepare operators to handle high-risk situations. Among the available courses, we highlight "Water Hazard", a specialized program to train operational personnel to safely intervene in river, levee, or flood-prone environments. The course includes both theoretical and practical components and is aimed at field operators, often working in critical conditions, providing essential skills for prompt and effective action.
