Intended audience

Those qualified in the previous 5 years for temporary rope access work (mod. B).

Prerequisites

Certification as rope worker.
Participants must be:

in good, self-certified physical and mental condition;
of age.

Objectives

Provide theoretical and practical updates relating to rope access systems (mod. B).

Course fee

250,00€ per participant at Kong premises (VAT exempt).

It is possible to organize courses on Saturdays and Sundays as well, by scheduling the dates in advance. Customized quotes will be provided with the appropriate fee adjustments.

Confirmation of the course will be sent by e-mail at least 10 working days before the fixed date.

The course will be activated upon reaching a minimum of 4 participants and a maximum of 8.

Notes on the criteria for evaluating operational conditions and risks present in the workplace
Technical standard UNI EN 12841
Rope adjustment devices type A, B and C
Description of operational techniques (AA-AB-BB)
Method of verifying the suitability and good conservation (daily and periodic) of PPE and equipment and responsibilities
Regulatory updates

Practical updates:

Use of ropes and other access systems. Safe ascent and descent
Creation of anchors and any subdivisions
Movement within the crown
Positioning in the foliage
Simulation of carrying out work activities with lifting of equipment work and application of techniques for lowering the resulting material
Application of evacuation and rescue techniques

Log Book

Who has already the Kong Log Book should bring it in order to update.

Certification

An attendance certificate is issued.

Payment procedure

Bank transfer within two days of receipt of the course confirmation. Registration will only be officially confirmed upon receipt of the fee.

Cancellation

In case of cancellation Kong S.p.A. will retain:

50% if the cancellation is made within 5 working days before the beginning of the course
the entire fee if the cancellation is made from the fourth working day before the beginning of the course, at the beginning of the course or after the course has started

Any absences for health reasons only entitle the fee to be suspended.
