Target audience

Organization operators, also those performing various tasks:

  • Employers for safety in the workplace
  • Senior executives
  • Prevention and Protection Services managers
  • Workers' Safety Representatives

Maximum number of participants: 8 people

Objectives and course aim

Through direct experience activities, concrete and sensitive, conducted in natural open spaces between land, water and air, non-technical skills that decisively affect every work and non-work activity are explored.
The course structure alternates experimentation and practical experience with moments of sharing, reflection and decoding, useful for grasping the meaning of non-technical skills and improving our understanding of human behavior, starting with our own.
When we talk about non-technical skills, we mean a set of transversal skills such as the ability to communicate effectively, leadership, teamwork, situational awareness, the way in which decisions are made, fatigue and stress management. But it is an open world made of awareness, extraneous to calculations and dogmas.
Very often, non-technical skills are used unknowingly by all of us; they are not clearly spelled out and recognized. They may be handed down among generations of workers without being given importance, sometimes because they seem too obvious or are taken for granted.
Whomever is called upon to "manage" safety, their own or that of others, must be aware that compliance with the rules is important, as is the use of certified equipment and the most up-to-date techniques. Yet training that brings people to the focus of attention, with all the skills they sometimes don't even know they have, is a step forward. We rethink safety.

Prerequisites

Psycho-physical self-certification

Location

Kong Training Center
Parco Regionale Adda Nord
Kong Airfield - "Pilota per Sempre" Flight School

A mainly experiential path to discovering non-technical skills; that is, cognitive, social and personal skills complementary to technical skills.
In high-risk activities and in the emergency world, there has been talk for some time about non-technical skills and their importance for performance improvement and risk mitigation, at work and in daily life.

Program

Day 1

9 - 11 am
Course introduction at the Kong Training Center.
Getting to know each other, introduction to the spaces where our experience and active experimentation will take place: a natural area within the “Parco Regionale Adda Nord” and the Kong airfield.
Participants construct a premise on "in-safety", useful for tackling the exploratory path of the swamp.

11 am - 4 pm
Exploratory and experiential path mediated by construction, completion of a "story map", activation of a path of perception and relationships with the undefined and unpredictable, variable natural environment.
Packed lunch.

4 - 6 pm
Decoding the experience and checking premises.

Day 2

9 - 11 am
Acquaintance, introduction to the spaces for active experimentation and experience: Kong airfield.
Participants construct a premise on "in-safety", useful for tackling a path in the uncertainty of the third dimension.

11 am- 1 pm
The third dimension is a sensory experience. Moving in the air is not only technical, it is about perception, total presence in what you do, emotion as a catalyst for experience, it is an unknown dimension to be lived. Like non-technical skills, they are just waiting to be experienced.

Catered lunch.

2 - 4 pm
Decoding the experience.

4 pm
Course conclusions.
