Hydrobot is a new tool conceived for
modern canyoning; can be used both with one
or two ropes and it allows an easy
changement of the braking under load.
Compared to other models, Hydrobot avoids
the risk of accidental loss, avoids the rope twisting
and avoids the wear of the connector.
The charateristic which makes Hydrobot
unique is the possibility to use it as
auto-locking device in case of emergency
ascending on one or two ropes
(in connection with a Prusik knot).
The possibility of overturning the central bar
(fixed by a screw) allows the use by left-handers.
Hydrobot is the only mountaineering device fitted
with a magnet to retain the mobile bar!

Discensore studiato per
il torrentismo moderno,
funziona con una o due
corde e permette di variare l'effetto frenante sotto carico.
Rispetto ad
altri modelli è imperdibile, non
causa l'usura del connettore cui è agganciato e soprattutto non attorciglia
le corde.
La caratteristica che rende davvero esclusivo Hydrobot è la possibilità di
fungere da auto-bloccante nella risalita d'emergenza su
una o due corde. Un vero e proprio bloccante sempre montato al quale
accoppiare un prusik o un bloccantino per risalire qualsiasi corda!
Pur avendo una geometria asimmetrica, grazie alla possibilità di
invertire il cursore, può essere utilizzato comodamente anche dai
mancini. La chicca finale: Hydrobot è l'unico attrezzo nel campo delle
attrezzature alpinistiche ad utilizzare un magnete!

Può funzionare con corda singola e doppia con possibilità di variazione
dell'effetto frenante anche sotto carico.
