Impiego

The pad may be bend in two so as to reduce its bulk for an handy moving. When it is closed, the crash takes up 92 by 61 centimetres. When open, it doubles its size, covering an area of 122 by 92 centimetres, with a thickness of 8 centimetres.

The stuffing of the mattress is made up with a spongy layer of polyurethane, doubled with another one of polyethylene, giving way to an excellent shock-absorbing action. The stuffing is sheltered by an heavy-duty polyester textile, closed on one end by a velcron fastener. The covering has two different faces. The one below, is black and thicker. The upper face is green, with an evident yellow Kong logo. 

Useful accessories, included in the kit of the Crash-Pad, are polypropylene belts with alu buckles, to be used to tie the parcel, and a little doormat that you can roll up and put inside. An handle, a baldric, and two straps, are prearranged to help you moving the load, or carrying it on your back. These devices, together with the fair weight - only 4,7 kilograms - allows an easy transport on every kinds of tracks.

Il materassino si presenta piegato in due per ridurre l’ingombro e facilitarne il trasporto. Chiuso, il Crash-Pad misura cm 92 x 61. Una volta aperto, raddoppia le sue dimensioni, raggiungendo la larghezza di 122 cm, con uno spessore di 8 cm.

L’anima del materassino è costituita da un doppio strato di poliuretano espanso e di polietilene espanso, che insieme garantiscono la massima assorbenza dell’urto. L’imbottitura è avvolta da un robusto telo antistrappo idrorepellente. La fodera si chiude con un velcron sul lato, e presenta due diversi spessori e colori: nero, più robusto, sul fondo, e verde (con il marchio Kong giallo) nella faccia superiore. 

Al Crash-Pad è unito un tappetino per pulire le scarpe, che si arrotola comodamente e si infila tra le cinghie della chiusura. Il materassino si chiude infatti con un pratico cinghiaggio in polipropilene e fibbie in alluminio. Una maniglia, una tracolla e due spallacci facilitano la movimentazione. La forma compatta e il peso ridotto - solo 4,7 chilogrammi - consentono un agile trasporto su tutti i tipi di terreno.
